today, we’re launching KERNEL for start-ups. you’ve got enough to worry about. the browser shouldn’t be one of them.
helping you get to launch
building a browser agent is hard even with the infrastructure handled. before you launch, you have to test your workflows, your user experience, and a long list of edge cases. we built this program to lower two barriers: getting started, and moving your browser agent out of beta. plus, the priority support and shared slack channel with our engineers on the scale tier mean you’re not building alone.
why start on KERNEL
KERNEL provides browser infra for ai agents to act on the internet. <30ms browser spin-up, bot anti-detection, reliable access for protected sites, auth that stays logged in, and 24fps live session view with full replay. we take care of the browser, so you can spend your time on your agent.
what you get
there are two tiers. both are good, and one is a little better.
prototype gives you the $200/mo start-up plan free for three months, plus $50/mo in usage credits and priority support. you qualify if you’re new to KERNEL, under two years old, and have raised $1m or more.
scale gives you $5,000 in credits valid for one year, covering both the plan fee and your usage, plus a shared slack channel with our engineers for your first month. you qualify if you’re new to KERNEL, under two years old, and backed by one of our partner funds: yc, a16z speedrun, or accel. if your investor isn’t on that list, they can join our partner network by emailing startups@kernel.sh.
both tiers put you on the start-up plan with access to 150 concurrent browsers, managed stealth, unlimited managed auth connections, gpu acceleration, regional browsers, byo proxies, unlimited projects, and 30 days of session replays.
how to apply
apply at kernel.sh/startups. you’ll need your company email, founding month and year, and a link that verifies your raise. press coverage or a pitchbook entry is fine.
